If we haven't already, the easiest way to compare calendars is for you to email or message me with your dates, and I will tell you what I have available. I always try to be as flexible as possible, and once we find a date, booking is 100% online and takes just a few minutes.
As you pull out your calendar, here are a few things to consider:
Once we've decided on a time and date and officially put your session on the books, then the fun begins. I am always happy to set up a time to chat if you have any questions or concerns.
A few days before our session is scheduled, I'll reach out to confirm our time and location... at that point, if the forecast is questionable or someone seems to be coming down with the flu, we can talk about our rescheduling options. Otherwise, that's the perfect time to ask any last-minute questions or let me know if you've come up with a fun idea we haven't discussed yet.
I strive to be eminently flexible with these sessions. My goal is to capture the natural interactions between the family, and in order to do that I find that my sessions resemble a stroll along the beach with stops to goof off more than anything else.
You are free to wear whatever you would like. My only request is that the children are comfortable. I much prefer a wet, sandy, shirtless laughing kid to one crying in a polo. Speaking of which, please do not stress about little ones sitting still or posing. We are going to be running around and splashing a LOT. I want them to have a good time.
The hardest part about beach shoots in the summer is finding a spot that is not crowded. If you are willing and physically able to handle a bit of walk, we can improve our chances at getting a shot that you will love by getting away from the crowds a bit. Please let me know if you are up for a little adventure.
Within just a couple of weeks of your session, you'll receive an email from me letting you know that your photos are ready and I will deliver them to you as a slideshow set to music. Once you've had a chance to see them and (hopefully) tear up for a bit, you'll let me know which collection you want to purchase. Each collection includes a number of high resolution digital files with printing rights. I like the collection system because it allows you to tailor your session to your budget and needs. Collections details are listed in the next section.
After that, you'll have a full month to select and download the specific digital files you want to use to fill that collection... zero pressure!
If you choose to purchase prints or albums they will be shipped directly to your home address from my professional lab partners.
What you're going to do with your images is perhaps the most important aspect to consider when you're planning for a photo session, but it's all too often the aspect that's overlooked.
All that time and money invested deserve a better return than photos gathering dust on a hard drive somewhere.
You'll never get the same feeling looking at your photos on a screen as you will seeing them on your wall or flipping through the pages of an album, so I always offer print options for purchase directly from your online gallery.
