Let them be kids.

Beautiful family photography without turning your vacation into a photo shoot.

“Nobody (including our teenage boys) was looking forward to the fake poses or the forced smiles. Instead, we all just got to be ourselves and play!”

A family session that feels like vacation

Your family doesn’t need to perform for the camera.

Go enjoy the beach together. I’ll give you enough direction to make the photographs everyone wants, then I’ll get out of the way and photograph what your family actually feels like.

We get the photograph Grandma wants—and then we let everyone have fun.

Simple on purpose

Three steps. No pressure.

Reserve the date now. Decide what photographs you want only after you’ve seen them.

I’ll make the polished family portrait, then let the kids move, play, explore and be themselves while I photograph what unfolds.

Meet Elie

I care about the moments between the portraits.

I grew up around Grayton Beach and Point Washington, long before either felt polished or planned. Years later, after spending too much of my own children’s early years distracted by work, I changed course.

Now I photograph the moments I wish I’d paid closer attention to: the connection, the laughter, the chaos, the small expressions that make your family unlike anyone else’s.

When one evening isn’t the whole story.

Four hours or a full day, spent where your family actually is: the kitchen counter, the porch, the game everyone wants to play again.

Questions parents usually ask.

What if my kids won’t stand still?

They don’t need to. We’ll make the family portrait first, then movement becomes part of the session instead of something everyone has to fight.

Will we still get a traditional family portrait?

Yes. I’m not trying to skip the portraits, just trying not to spend your whole evening manufacturing them. We’ll make the posed one early, then everyone can loosen up.

Do I have to choose my image package before the session?

No. The $250 session fee reserves the date. After you see the finished gallery, choose 5 digital files, 15 files, or the full gallery.
